Be strong and of a good courage.

I was just reading in Joshua chapter 1 and what really stood out to me was how many times it says be strong and of a good courage. I really think the Lord was trying to make a point. And it is definitely good advice. Ever since Joshua 1:9 was our mutual theme it has always been one of my favorite scriptures. It says "Be strong and of a good courage. Be not afraid neither be though dismayed for the Lord thy god is with thee whithersoever though goest" This scripture just is so comforting to me, to know that the Lord wants us to be courageous and strong and know that he is with us always so there is no reason to fear. There is a part in my patriarchal blessing that says something similar to that and it always makes me feel so peaceful. I'm so thankful for scriptures like this that give me that assurance that everything will be okay :)

Impact.

Everything about my life is so wonderful! I mean it isn't all the time, but here's some advice for you people who read this (if there are any) :) Smiling even through the hard times, makes it alot easier to be positive and to see the good things in your life instead of dwelling on the bad things!

So I have learned something about myself. I absolutely LOVE writing about things that make a big impact on me! I love sharing my testimony of my church and writing about how it effects my life or things that make it so good! I guess thats why I have this blog! 

I was reading the scriptures the other day and started reading in Doctrine and Covenants section 18. Anyone who is reading this should go read that, and when I say read it I mean really read it, look at each verse individually and see what you can get from it! It is so full of so many good messages! Actually for anyone who isn't Mormon and doesn't know what Doctrine and Covenants is, I'll just attach the scriptures that I loved to the end of this. But you should definitely read it, everyone should! And if you want to talk to me about it, I'm definitely here to  talk about it with you because it is so awesome! :) Haha just sometimes there are scriptures or things said by leaders of my church that really hit me hard and I get all excited about them! :)

 19 And if you have not ^afaith, ^bhope, and ^ccharity, you can do nothing.

 20 ^aContend against no church, save it be the ^bchurch of the devil.

 21 Take upon you the ^aname of Christ, and ^bspeak the truth in^csoberness.

 22 And as many as repent and are ^abaptized in my name, which is Jesus Christ, and ^bendure to the end, the same shall be saved.
